Anhembi Park
Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil
July 10 to 12 (10:00 AM - 08:00 PM)
July 13 (10:00 AM to 05:00 PM)
The event opens the best sale season in Brazilian shoes and accessories sector and presents new collections to thousands of national and international buyers.
Historically, the second semester represents an increase of 30 % to 40 % in Brazilian Footwear Industry activities in comparison with the first six moths of the year. Throughout this time, spring - summer collections prevail, which in a tropical climate country such as Brazil occupy the shop windows for 8 to 9 months straight. FRANCAL is the event that officially marks the kickoff of this sale season in Brazil. Manufacturers from various regions present their latest releases in footwear and fashion accessories to tens of thousands shop keepers coming from all Brazilian States and to thousands of importers coming from five different continents.
The fair is the best opportunity of the year for doing great business and an essential commercial promotion tool while providing exhibitors with sale increases, inventory renewal and the opening of new markets. FRANCAL takes place at a 70 thousand square meters area in Anhembi, which is Latin America’s largest exhibition pavilion. FRANCAL will gather more than a thousand exhibitors in a 46 thousand square meter stand and it is expected to exceed the mark of 64 thousand professional visitors registered at last year’s edition, with approximately 3 thousand international buyers from more than a hundred countries.
Trend Pavilions As occurs with all editions, new fashion trends and concepts have their place secured at FRANCAL, in a series of trend pavilions and parallel events. Thereby, the fair provides its visitors with fashion information that directs their business and qualifies sale professionals.
FRANCAL TOP FASHION: Comprising well devoted brands within footwear and accessory national brands, it gathers some of the most desired trademarks in the market. Before entering into such group, brands are submitted to an assessment to secure the fashion concept of this room. The collections are highlighted for their differentiated design and low scale production, and enjoy the accreditation from a select market and continuous participation in fashion editorials.
NATIONAL DESIGN: Well devoted footwear and accessory brands and designers present their creations, confectioned in a practically crafty way and elaborated in after a deep fashion research. The decoration of the venue is assigned to the brands themselves, in tune with the new collection concepts.
FASHION STYLE: An opportunity for those manufacturers presenting a small output products that have a differentiated design to take part in an international event such as FRANCAL and to encourage the growth and development of their trademarks.
BIJOU PAVILION: A traditional pavilion at FRANCAL, gathers tens of bijou brands. It is mandatory stop for shop keepers that want to enhance their sale options and also for other visitors that are able to buy directly from the manufacturers.
COLLECTIVE STANDS: Small manufacturers may participate in FRANCAL in collective stands, which are organized by trade associations or governmental bodies from significant Brazilian footwear clusters. It is a way for such companies to contact a highly qualified purchasing public and to pursue business growth. Many brands have been shown for the first time at fair’s collective stands and, time after time, had their force increased to allow an individual exhibition.
STEP BY STEP PROJECT: In its eighth edition, this space reproduces inside the pavilion a modern footwear production line, with focus on a process stage, with the purpose of providing the industry professionals with technical information, answering questions and presenting the technological innovations. It is promoted by Francal Feiras in association with the IBTeC - Brazilian Institute for Leather, Footwear and Articles Technology (Instituto Brasileiro de Tecnologia do Couro, Calçado e Artefatos).
