This new edition of SIMM witnessed a significant increase in the number of buyers, compared to the same edition last year. In short, a total of 19,382 visitors were recorded, which represents an increase compared to the September 2005 edition. We might highlight the strong increase in the number of foreign professionals, whose attendance grew by 20 per cent, in the form of nearly 2,000 foreign buyers. The countries that witnessed the strongest growth in terms of their participation included Argentina, Australia, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, the United States, Italy, Lithuania, Paraguay and Russia, which all tripled the number of buyers they sent to SIMM. The number of professionals who attended the fair from Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland and Uruguay doubled. | ||||
