Poko Pano Summer 2008
Paola Robba's 2008 Couture Collection for Poko Pano is a visual interpretation of the connection found between Brazilian music and art. Inspired by Bahia's charitable children's school of the Arts, Candeal, the Collection is dedicated to Carlinhos Brown, the founder of the life-changing school.

Bahia, with beautiful, sun-drenched beaches and art-loving community, is the perfect back-drop for this years' collection.

"I was really impressed with the Bahia community. They know how to make their existence special through the collors, rhythms, sun, sea, and the warm interaction of their people," says Paola Robba about Bahia.

The rhythms of local music and color are re-invented as highly stylized prints using Vibrant Pink, Deep Emerald, Marine Blue and sophisticated Black and White. Innovative handi-work for which the region is known - including embroidery, knitting and needlepoint in both soft touch and metallic Lycra further bring the collection to life.

The new collection, with it's sexy, body-conscious and more modest silhouettes offers both Brazilian and American cut in sizes small, medium and large.
