ANK by Mirla Sabino Presents Cruise 2008 Collection

Celebrated Brazilian swimwear designer Mirla Sabino unveiled the Cruise 2008 collection of her ANK swimwear line Friday night at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami Swim.

The 7pm show, presented by Nivea Body Good-bye Cellulite, was delayed as the eager audience filled the Beachway tent at the historic Raleigh hotel. Editors from Sports Illustrated, Fitness, Teen Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, InStyle, Shape, Self and Ocean Drive were in front row attendance.

This season, Sabino’s beautiful collection reflected the natural essence of Brazil.

An organic color palete and uncomplicated shapes combined to create sheer elegance on the runway. Distinctive prints and unique details of shell and stone added to the collection’s luxe appeal. Stunning jewelry from Citrine by the Stones added the final touch to the presentation.

Currently, ANK by Mirla Sabino is available at select Victoria’s Secret stores and through their catalogue. The label can also be found at numerous specialty stores and high-end boutiques in Latin and North America, the Caribbean, Spain, Italy, Japan, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates.
