Tereza Santos Gets The Designer Choice Award During Miami Fashion Week 2007

It was really crazy during the Miami Fashion Week 2007! Although we hadn’t had a massive representation on quantity, just four Brazilian designers, we sure brought the best to the runway. Tereza Santos’ shine star mesmerized the audience and critics at the show presenting her unmatched talent among the participating designers. Nonetheless her successfull 27 year experience in the Brazilian fashion industry, this show was her debut in America. She was honored with the “Designer Choice Award” for a commitee of international fashion experts. I have to confess to my fashionista friends: “Tereza’s collection was just in another league!”

During exclusive interview to the Gazeta Brazilian News, the top expert in the Brazilian fashion industry and award winner as the most influential woman in this area in Brazil by Forbes Magazine, Gloria Kalil talks about the Brazilian fashion industry facing globalization. She is the head of the international seminar “Fashion Marketing 2007,” already in its second edition. The event will happen on April 17^th and 18^th, at the São Paulo World Trade Center in Brazil.
